Colored Lights Concert

Our musical scale of C major matches the colors of the rainbow: C – red, D -orange, E – yellow, F – green, G – blue, A – indigo and B – violet.

I have chosen songs in the different keys and placed a picture of each different instrument on a background of the color relating to the key. For example, a song in the key of C will have the instrument on a background of red.

All drawings of instruments were done by Jason Allen and all songs and lyrics were written by Norma Hickox.

Performance is on twin pianos with Norma playing lead piano and Patricia Ann Burge playing spontaneous improvisations on second piano. You must use your imagination to pretend each instrument is playing the different songs.
